What Does a Behavior Technician Do?

As a Behavior Technician at Beyond Brighter Minds, you’ll work directly with children diagnosed with autism, helping them build communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills through one-on-one support.

 

You’ll follow individualized treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), record session data, and play an important role in each child’s progress.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Provide one-on-one support during therapy sessions

  • Implement behavior intervention strategies

  • Help children practice communication, social, and life skills

  • Track progress and record session data

  • Work closely with supervisors and families to support client goals

What You'll Do

  • Work 1:1 with children in home or clinical settings

  • Implement therapy programs designed by a BCBA

  • Track progress and behavior data

  • Build positive, supportive relationships with clients

Requirements

  • Reliable transportation

  • Consistent availability (minimum X hours/week)

  • Comfortable working with children

  • Willingness to learn and follow structured programs

Compensation & Schedule

  • $20–$30 per hour (based on experience)

  • Flexible scheduling options

  • Opportunities for growth (RBT certification support)
